Parking at the Zaanse Schans

Parking at the Zaanse Schans is possible. This will cost you 15 euro for the day. However, this Zaanse Schans park area is totally full almost every day after 11.00 AM. So where do you park when this place is full? Well it’s easy, just cross the big Juliana bridge and park wherever you want without paying for it. The entire area around the Zaanse is a free parking zone. Please take notice that you park your car in a safe way. During peak moments you see cars parked next to big busy regional roads. That is not the right way. Just park your car in a normal living area around our SHOP. (Link)

Parking your car for free in the Zaanse Schans area

Park your car for free only 5 minutes walking from the Zaanse Schans!? Yes it’s possible and it’s easy. Please click on this LINK to check the location of our store where all parking spots are free of charge. A lot of people who arrive in the area think they have to pay to park in the streets, but this city government offers all parking spaces outside the Zaanse Schans for free. Just park your car in a regular white lined spot and you can park as long as you want, it’s public space. In the area is also a small blue parking zone, thats the Guisweg (streetname) . You just need a blue time card, and you can stay there for 2 hours maximum. If you want to buy such a blue card, you can do that at Staphorsius. That´s the name of the store on the guisweg.

Where can you park your camper?

Parking your camper is not allowed on the paid parking of the Zaanse Schans. But, you can just park your camper in THESE free public streets around our store. It will cost you nothing because the streets are public streets without regulations. You are allowed to park a camper / mobile home for 3 days maximum. But you are NOT allowed to SLEEP in the camper. So parking camper = yes, sleeping in camper = NO.

Leave your car at Zaanse Schans station and visit Amsterdam

Parking your car at our free zone of the Zaanse Schans offers even more possibilities. All the streets near our shop are connected to the train station called Zaandijk Zaanse Schans. That means you can park your car for free and then take the train towards Amsterdam or Alkmaar. The train takes you to Amsterdam Central in 17 minutes. The trains run every 30 minutes all day long until 01:00 AM
